1) Music Video's demonstrate genre characteristics e.g.:performance, dance, etc...
2) Their is a relationship between lyrics and visuals,
3) Their is a relationship between music and Visuals,
4) close-ups of the artists-visual style
5) Frequent reference to notion of looking (e.g.: screens within screens, telescopes, etc..) and voyeuristic treatment of the female body,
6) Often intertextual reference to a separate media e.g.: film, tv, other Music Video's,
